"How He Loves Us"

This is a song that I heard on a video called "Cardboard Testimonies". I'm posting the link to the video also because it's incredibly moving. I would recommend it to anyone with only one suggestion... grab the Kleenex.

It takes a little while for it "buffer", but it's worth it!

Here are some of the lyrics to the song. It's so hard to wrap our hands around how very much He loves us, but it still feels amazing! :) The guy who wrote this, John Mark McMillian, wrote it after one of his friends died. You can view the video on utube I believe. He didn't write it as a worship song, but it's since become one. God is good.

He is jealous for me,
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden,
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realize just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me.

And oh, how He loves us so,
Oh how He loves us,
How He loves us so

Yeah, He loves us,
Oh how He loves us
Oh how He loves us
Oh how He loves.

We are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,
If grace is an ocean, we're all sinking.
So Heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss,
And the heart turns violently inside of my chest,
I don't have time to maintain these regrets,
When I think about, the way...

He loves us,
Oh how He loves us
Oh how He loves us
Oh how He loves.
